I close my eyes

I look outside
I see a white world
Probably freezing too
Everyday is dark and gray

I close my eyes and wish for the sun
Dinner on the balcony
Or in the living room with all windows open
For blue skies and days I can walk around in shorts and flip flops

Take my bike all the way to Monnickendam
Reading or studying at Twiske
Or maybe a birthday picknick

I close my eyes and dream of summer.
